The village website provides a wonderful opportunity to put together a photographic record of life in Isle Abbotts over the last 100? years. The project started with an old photo album, found in the village hall during spring cleaning. These photos showed various activities in the village hall during the 1980s. Since then other villagers have come forward with pictures taken at village events to add to the library. Clearly if the project is going to succeed I'm going to need your help. If you could:-

 

   1. Please review the photographs in the UNKNOWN link above:-

      Are any of these your photographs? -  If so please let me know so that I can attribute copyright to you.

   2. Do you know which year the photos were taken? - If so please let me know so that I can put them in the correct year.

   3. Do you have any photographs which you would like to be included in the library  - Please let me know, I can arrange to collect your pictures, scan them and return them to you within 48hours  

 

To view the photographs click on the links above to the appropriate year group. The year group will open and you can view the images as a slide show or individually. Click the Gallery link to return to this page.

 

Finally if you see any photographs of you or your family in the library which you do not want to be included, then please contact me, and I'll arrange to remove them immediately.
